We help local waste collection businesses to collect high quality PCP materials, Octopus provide a transparent & accountable mobile app that could leverage their business to connect with Financial Institutions. Currently there are 1008 Collection points got capital loan from Bank and other financial institution.

Makasar
PELESTARIMhilina was a hotel employee, she lost her job due to covid-19 situation. After months of unemployment, she heard about Octopus and join us as Octopus Pelestari. On her 4th month, she earn IDR 4 million per month.
COLLECTION POINTBefore Octopus, Rosmini already runs her own waste collection business. Her cashflow was tousled and her profit was only 3-5%. She heard that there is this new app that could help her to run the business. Right after join Octopus, she could track every transaction and monitor every single stock item in her Collection Point. Currently, Rosmini have 10-12% profit margin per month, she also got capital loan from Bank to grow her business and able to buy more post-consumer product from Octopus PELESTARI.
Bali
PELESTARIGiri decided to be part of the solution for plastic problem in Denpasar. As pelestari, she's not only save the environment, but also having a fix income from the Post Consumer Product that she collect from Octopus user. The job is a blessing for her, especially in difficult times during covid-19 situation.
COLLECTION POINTLiseh start his waste collection business 10 years ago. There are so many loophole in traditional post consumer product trading process, no pricing standard, no quality standard that makes lots of problem. When he heard about Octopus, he try to reach us, he would like to know what kind of solution that we can offer.
“Using per piece instead of kg is a great idea” he said, he also mention that Octopus also need to set standard for pricing and quality here in Denpasar. On his 3rd month as Octopus Collection Point, his business no longer facing different measurement problem with the waste collectors. He also encourage local waste collectors that sold him Post consumer product to join Octopus as Pelestari.
